A monk was camping on the bank of the ghat. There he used to sit whole day in a daze and every now and then shouted in a loud voice, “You can get whatever you want!

People passing by that way thought him mad. They used to persuade him after listening to him and those who listened used to laugh at him.

One day an unemployed youth was passing that way. The sound of the monk's shouting also reached his ears - "You will get whatever you want!" "You can get whatever you want!".

Hearing this sentence, the young man came to the monk and started asking him, “Baba! you will get whatever you want  for a long time   . Can you really give me what I want?"

The monk said, "Yes son, but first you tell me what do you want to get?"

"Baba! I want to become a big diamond merchant one day. Can you fulfill this wish of mine? The young man spoke.

"Of course ! I give you a diamond and a pearl, make as many pearls as you want from it. Sage spoke. After listening to the monk, the light of hope shone in the eyes of the young man.

Then the monk asked him to extend both his palms forward. The young man put his palms in front of the monk. The monk first put his hand on one of his palms and said, “Son, this is the most precious diamond in the world. This is called ' time '. Grip it tightly in your fist. With this you can make as many diamonds as you want. Never let it slip out of your hands.

Then the sage put his other hand on the other palm of the young man and said, “Son, this is the most precious pearl in the world. This is called ' patience '. When the desired result is not achieved even after spending time in some work, then wear this pearl called patience. If you have this pearl, you can achieve whatever you want in the world.

The young man listened carefully to the sage and thanked him and left. He had got two guru mantras to achieve success. He decided that he would never waste his time and would always be patient.

After some time he started working at a big diamond merchant. For a few years, he diligently learned every trick of the business and one day, realizing his dream with his hard work and dedication, became a big diamond trader.

 What  you  learn from the story. 

To achieve the goal, always keep the diamonds and pearls named 'time' and 'patience' with you. Never let your time go in vain and do not leave patience in difficult times. Success will definitely be achieved .
